Martin was his very first coaching client and I think that’s one of the most powerful parts of his story. I had the honor of witnessing his transformation up close. He did the hard work on himself first, and then turned around and created a system from experience, not theory. That’s why it has always been easy to trust his coaching. His analogy about Michelangelo carving David helped me see that becoming who God created me to be was about surrender, and letting Him chisel away everything that wasn’t me. Since being mentored by Martin, I have a vision for my life.
